I don't have any Irish ancestors myself, but I do have an Irish visitor living with my ex-Wing WILLIAMSON family in Wembley at the time of the 1911 census. Would anyone like to claim James YOUNG, a single 23-year-old (so born around 1887) professional boxer from Milltown, Dublin, Ireland?

This is too funny! I'm always trying to find ways to take part in the Carnival of Irish Culture and Genealogy. I never thought of finding connections in the census neighbourhoods of my ancestors.
I will definitely try this myself in the future!

Thanks Evelyn! I'm always intrigued by boarders and visitors living with my families at census time, but never get around to looking into them properly (one day....). These people lived with our families but we tend to overlook them - I'm sure valuable things would be learned if we can make connections with their descendants.
